Overview: 'SLOrktastic: iterate and finalize

This assignment asks you to iterate the design of and finalize your group's piece for SLOrktastic Chamber Music.

  • Reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of your initial prototype
  • Iterate the design, reinforcing strengths and revising weaknesses
  • Finalize the piece, and rehearse until your group feels very comfortable performing the piece in a concert setting
  • Aim for roughly 10 +/- 2 minutes in duration

In-class Performance

  • Each group will be given 30 minutes to perform (twice, with feedback in-between).
